Godmorning - 40 pack

GODMORNING
 
Wouldn't it be nice if every day was a good day, one without being caught off guard with an unexpected surprise introduced by life itself.  Well, I believe that might well be a possibility.  Instead of making each morning a good morning, why not try making your morning a God Morning?
 
Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (plentiful supply).” (John 10:10b)  God wants the best for His children and we have the power to expect nothing less.  John 15:7 says, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you (for you).”
 
I heard the following phrase years ago, “First things first.”  And that’s exactly what God would like His children to do, to put Him first.  Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  God wants His children to set their eyes on Him, and He will take care of the rest.
 
I find that when I open the Word of God each morning, then I'm more likely to have a God Morning.
 
It's like after a shower, you feel full of vigor, clean, refreshed, alive, and energized.  And because it’s God’s Word, we’re empowered by the Spirit of God Himself.
 
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is quick (living), and powerful…”
 
If you will allow me, I would like to offer a prescription that will start you on your way to having a God Morning as well.
 
Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed is he who READs and those who HEAR the words of this prophecy, and KEEP those things which are written in it…”  We have three words (READ, HEAR, KEEP) that should be a part of every Christian’s lifestyle.  We also have blessings to be sure as well.  God promises in His Word (the Bible) to be close at hand when we stay close by Him.  As James 4:8 states, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you...”  
 
It’s no secret that, as a Christian, if you read, hear, and keep (obey) the Word of God, you will have a better life.  Here is a promise just for you from Psalm 5:12: “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.” And Psalm 119:105 says, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.”
 
Have you ever had the thought, “I wish I could find my way.”  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)  Wow, how great is our God!  As Christians, we should know by reading the Word of God that John 14:6 is there to share with those who are searching for a way out, and a way into heaven.  Psalm 19:8 says, “The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart.” 
 
Make it a good habit to read the Word of God and be blessed daily.  “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament (the sky above) shows His handiwork.” (Psalm 19:1)
 
Hear – “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17)  Make it a habit, while the preacher (minister) is bringing forth the bread of life (the Word of God), that you’re listening to the voice of God (what God has to say) and nothing else.  
 
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”  What a very powerful verse.  
 
Keep (obey) – Solomon, the wisest man that ever walked the face of this earth, said “Fear God (give Him reverence) and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
 
My prayer is that you will start a great habit.  Now prepare yourself to receive the abundant life that God promises to all that will by faith trust Him to deliver what He promised in His Word.  
 
Maybe you’re looking for a fresh start and a better life?  If so, with a repenting heart and believing that Jesus is the only way to God, call upon Him to save your soul and get ready, with the help from the family of God, to experience a new life in Christ.
 
Romans 10:13 says, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Now get ready to have a God day, because God loves you and wants this for you.
